The conference on Materials Science and Manufacturing Technology (MSMT) is being held every two years. The aim is to bring together scientists, researchers and industry engineers to review and discuss advances in the development of methods and approaches on materials science and manufacturing technology. This provides a forum for scientists, researchers and engineers to present their accomplishments and to develop new ideas at the highest level. In other words, this provides a forum for networking, knowledge and experience exchange among scientists, researchers and industry engineers as well as disseminating leading- edge information and best practices. Conferences have an important role to play in the technology transfer, especially in terms of the relationships to be established between the participants, and the informal exchange of ideas that this event offers. The presence of this event in the historic Cairo offers an opportunity that must be taken.
